I am a professor of mathematics, and I enjoy teaching a lot. During my academic career, I have taught several courses on linear and integer programming and other topics in optimization at Saarland University in Germany, at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago de Chile, at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and, finally, at the Technical University of Munich. Also, do research in the area of optimization, motivated by theoretical and practical questions. Originally, I am from Berlin, where I also studied mathematics and subsequently finished my Ph.D. in mathematics.
